Question: What do different people think about obesity?

When I surveyed 98% of the people I have surveyed know what obesity is. 2% don’t know what obesity is. 98% of the people think that obesity is when you are overweight which is correct. 30% of the people think that to much junk/fast food causes obesity. 30% of the people think that not exercising causes obesity and 40% of the people think that its a combination of too much fast food/junk food, genetics, medicines, not exercising and psychological issues that causes obesity. 80% of the people think that its the person’s fault that they are obese. 7% of the people said that it depends on the person and 10% of the people think that its someones else fault. Only 3% of the people think its the medication’s fault. 75% of the people see obese people differently then people who are not obese and  25% of the people see obese people not differently then normal people. 20% of the people see obese people as someone who is not active. 20% of the people see obese people as someone who was born that way. 60% of the people see obese people as someone who does not make healthy food choices.
